ghost ship warehouse derick almena may be released on bail as he awaits retrial this summer. his attorneys have argued he's at risk of getting the coronavirus while in custody. last week a judge reportedly tentatively approved bail agreement including at-home confinement. almena's new trial is scheduled to start in july. the jurors first time around were deadlocked on whether or not to convict him for the fire that killed 36 people in 2016. happening now -- the hearing is scheduled to get under way within the next few minutes. bob redell is there at the courthouse. he'll have a live report on our midday newscast. you can check our twitter feed where we'll post any updates as we get them. as of today, more nonessential businesses will be able to go back to work. but anything that does reopen has to follow much tighter restrictions. go to our home page for those full details. also on our home page we've
