good morning i'm phillip mena >> i'm frances rivera. we begin with breaking news overnight. a manhunt is underway for a gunman who shot the family of a federal judge at their doorstep in north brunswick, new jersey the son of judge esther salas has been killed and her husband is in critical condition authorities say the gunman posed as a delivery truck driver and shot him after he answered the door when the 20-year-old son daniel came to the door he was shot as well judge salas was in the basement at the time. her husband is a well regarded criminal defense attorney. judge salas has presided over numerous high-profile cases including a fraud case involving real housewives star teresa. >> she was presiding over a lawsuit by deutsche bank investors that they failed to monitor jeffrey epstein's illegal activities, that's according to bloomberg in a tweet governor phil murphy sent condolences
