how about we go to dylan for another check of the weather >> good morning again. we still have really warm temperatures down through the southern half of the country and it is going to remain that way through the day. hot and humid. temperatures will be close to records especially down across southern florida but elsewhere we're looking for high temperatures to feel like it's above 100 degrees in new orleans, lake charles, birmingham will feel like 101. charlotte will feel like 104 today. then that heat continues to creep to the north it will feel like it's close to 100 degrees. same goes for atlanta, charleston, and jacksonville will feel like 110 degrees now, out west it's very warm but dry. you have these temperatures themselves that are up around 110 degrees in las vegas on friday saturday is even warmer. sunday up to 112 degrees so we are likely going to see some records in this part of the country going through the
