quality in the north bay moving over to the east bay and down to the santa clara valley. with the variable winds we've seen at times higher wind gusts. it changes the direction of those fires and where they're going and where the smoke and ash as well as those embers continue to go. we are looking at a northerly wind right now that brings in that smoke as well as some very dry conditions but then when you head to the south across the rest of the bay area it's more of a southerly win. we're seeing the winds meeting up and funneling through parts of our valley and the north bay as well as heading through san francisco. as we go into tomorrow more of a southerly wind which will bring in a slight boost in humidity but it's still going to bezyt t the direction those fires will be spreading. so for today we have this heat advisory that continues for all of the bay area except for the immediate coastline where the temperatures will still be very warm reaching into the 80s and 90s today but then we lock at our inland temperatures.
