still sweeping its way through the united states. as of today, the nation has over 7.8 million cases. and over 215,000 deaths.a comesc news finds six states all had record increases in cases on friday meanwhile in new york city, officials say they have issued fines totaling at least $150,000 for violators of its new restrictions on mass gatherings. according to the city, law enforcement personnel say they have delivered 62 summons since the start of restrictions began friday in the city's color-coded cluster zones. an alarming new study reveals covid can survive on according to researchers in australia, it can survive on bank notes, glass and stainless steel for up to 28 days. that's 11 days longer than the flu virus. meanwhile, england is gearing up for new lockdowns.
