celebrated their victory as president and vice president-elect of the united states today the enormity and the reality of the task of governing ahead of them comes into focus as they stand up their transition team. the first order of business, announcing a 12-person task force to help implement joe biden's plans to tackle the covid-19 pandemic. we should expect to see more announcements from the president-elect over the course of the next few days as be fills in his administration. now, in his address to the nation on saturday night, joe biden called for ending the era of deemization, reaching out to trump supporters, asking them to give him a chance. the reality, though, is his administration will depend in large part on the makeup of congress and the two senate races up for grabs in georgia. nbc is projecting that joe biden will win the race, several states still counting ballots this morning the race in georgia remains too close to call. biden has about a 10,000-vote lead over the president.
