7:06 am
another change is usually, on thanksgiving eve, on wednesday, there is sort of a balloon blow-up event. people come from all around the city to see the balloons get filled up. obviously, this year, they did still have to fill up those balloons, but there was no event. they didn't want crowds gathering to watch that. hoda, savannah, despite all the changes, cannot tell you how excited i am to see this parade. >> i know, joe i think you're new to the east coast this year, so you're in for a really good show. >> yeah, the party is going to go on. i can't wait 9:00 we're starting it. >> i know. there's only one person we really need to check in with. >> who >> the most important person on thanksgiving morning his name is al roker he along our parade route, which means he's probably right over there. >> yeah. >> al, we see we got some rain, but our spirits are high how about yours? >> oh, they are. and the rain has kind of dropped off. i think what we're going to be looking at is this, in and out showers, not a big deal. okay, so here's 34th street. there's tom turkey tom turkey is going to be starting off there, and the floats are down there.
