impeachment trial seems to be the biggest concern in washington we know thatit wouldn't start before wednesday, but it could start on wednesday, on inauguration day, one hour after joe biden is sworn in. the senate considering this one article of impeachment that has not been transferred to them yet, accusing president trump of inciting this riot now, a handful of republicans have said they would consider convicting the president, and that is unusual certainly. and it's something that we heard from not only senator mitch mcconnell, the republican leader, but also alaskan senator lisa murkowski who says the president bears some responsibility here. >> this president violated his oath of office, and i believe there must be consequences to that i believe ththat the house in advancing the articles of impeachment is entirely
