both sides are hopeful they'll come to some agreement, but they haven't yet. their plans are very different take a look. what the president wants do is about three times the cost of the $618 billion republican plan he's got money for state and local governments, they don't. he's got a lot more money for schools. the stimulus checks under his plan are a little bigger they want to slim it down to $1,000 but target it to lower income families. unemployment republicans would slim it to $300 a week and for three months instead of six big differences. not to mention hiking minimum wage the president wants to hike it republicans don't. there are big differences, even though the republicans say they think the meeting was productive. >> it was a very good exchange of views i wouldn't say that we came
