extended period of time. we know from julia ainsley's reporting that more than 800 kids have been under border patrol custody for more than ten days what's happening here is a bottleneck with health and human services that is the agency that should be taking custody of these children while they await being united with a sponsor or a relative the problem is they do not have to pass any -- they're not able to create bed space quickly enough to keep up with these numbers, so that is the urgency right now. a rush for expanding capacity with health and human services so children are not stuck in over crowded facilities with customs and border protection like the 235 silt behind me here. >> dasha, thank you. the spotlight will fall on a minneapolis courtroom on monday. this morning we are learning more about the jurors.

here's shaquille brewster. shaq, good morning. >> reporter: hi, frances 15 jurors were selected. 14 will be there in the courtroom seated for the start of opening statements on monday, but it will be up to 12 jurors once those alternates are dismissed, 12 jurors who will determine the fate of derek chauvin, the ex-officer accused of killing george floyd. while they will remain silent during this process, we did learn about them over the course of the jury selection process. the first juror seated, juror number 2, we know he's an outdoors man, he likes to go backpacking and hiking he has not seen the video of floyd pinned under the knee of officer chauvin. we know many jurors said they had negative views of derek chauvin coming into this case largely because of the amount of time that his knee was on the neck of george floyd by the key thing, all of them said they can put that aside and enter the process impartially and give chauvin the presumption of
