tracking all the developments overnight. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, kristen. the officer killed leaves behind two children and his mother among those mourning his death duty today. officials who arerism not aware of any political motivation or any connection between the suspect and members of congress who were away on easter recess. wreckage from a stunning attack. towed away after this latest capitol hill tragedy. the deadly confrontation at a barricade friday. authorities say 25-year-old noah green charged officers in that blue car and then brandished a knife. >> the suspect did start lunging toward u.s. capitol police officers, at which time u.s. capitol police officers fired upon the suspect. >> the suspect was killed. motive is under investigation.
