latest from capitol hill. breaking news before the chauvin verdict was read a shooting in ohio fueling new protests a police officer shot and killed a 16-year-old black girl they were responding to a 911 call for an attempted stabbing when the officer fired his gun at the girl. overnight they played body camera footage which some viewers may find disturbing. >> a tragic day in the city of columbus horrible, heartbreaking situation. the city of columbus lost a 16-year-old girl based on this footage, the officer took the life of another young girl in our community. what the video shows is the female with a knife attempting to stab the first girl on the

ground as the second girl is pushed against the vehicle >> hey, hey, hey get down get down get down >> there we pause the video moments before the officer fires his gun. police performed cpr at the scene but she was pronounced dead at the hospital the ohio bureau of investigation is conducting a probe of the incident. could getting too little sleep increase your chances of developing dementia. a new study published in the journal of nature communications seems to think so. the sleep habits of 8,000 people in the u.k. over 25 years and found people aged 50 or 60 who regularly slept 6 hours or less each night were 30% more likely to develop dementia. the nation's inoculation
