>> reporter: right, frances. so in addition to several white house departments working on this, a spokesperson there says the president will personally push to pass the george floyd justice in policing act to enact some of these reforms that he will be calling and meeting with democrats, republicans and civil rights leaders one of the key issues here is immunity for police officers accused of misconduct. will the president be willing to bend on that will republicans see any other options? >> he believes the bar for convicting officers is far too high it needs to be changed he's a strong supporter as he also conveyed passionately last night of the george floyd justice in policing act. the president doesn't believe that he alone can pull the george floyd act -- policing act across the finish line that is going to be up to congress. >> i think we are on the verge
