it really is a mixed bag with not only the president's overall approval rating, but on those key issues that you talked about in some areas. he gets a thumbs-up, even from a significant number of republicans. but in other areas, it's significantly lower. let's take a look at the numbers. first of all, his overall job approval rating for the first 100 day, 53% it's higher than donald trump, lower than barack obama at that same point, 100 days into their presidencies but on some of the key issues we're facing right now, take a look covid support, how the president is handled the pandemic, 69% of americans approve. 27% disapprove on immigration, of course, driven by that crisis at the border, he's got a much lower approval rating, 33% when it comes to border security and immigration. and on infrastructure support, this is the next big thing that

he and congress will be tackling, a 59% approval rating so far one of the big drivers of that on capitol hill, trying to get it done is going to be the cost. >> at the end of the day, i'm willing to not pay for some of the infrastructure spending because i think it over time pays for itself. we're not going to do a couple trillion dollars 85% of it's got nothing to do with infrastructure. >> republicans would be the first one that would work with them but i think the very first thing we would need to do is define what infrastructure is, roads, bridges, airports, broadcom. we would get this done. >> that's infrastructure, what we would call traditional infrastructure the human infrastructure is something that we're very much concerned about. >> reporter: we could hear more about that on wednesday when president biden makes his first joint address to congress. he's expected to talk about immigration reform, police reform, and stricter gun laws. frances? >> tracie, thank you now to historic night of firsts in hollywood at the 93rd
