covid is spreading through india. the country has seen 20 million covid cases and is second in global infections. nbc's matt bradley has more. >> nearly 7500 covid deaths, more than 360,000 new cases. medical experts say the real numbers could be up to ten times higher at this hospital in dehli, desperately old patients wait in cars to be seen. the icu is so crowded doctors can hardly move. open bed means hope for one family, it likely comes at heart break for another. >> losing patients here. >> reporter: many furious at the government saying they should have been better prepared. >> people are dieing because they are not getting medical care. >> reporter: doctors begging for supplies. >> i request you, please send oxygen to us. >> reporter: the u.s. sent the first four planes with supplies. many rushing to meet the midnight deadline.
