high temperatures. you'll notice that it will be a little bit lower than yesterday, so feeling very comfortable. we'd better take it in and enjoy it because we do have a heatup in our forecast coming our way for the weekend. even though there will be some showers nearby across the region it does provide some cooling for the next couple of days. but then once that clears out we'll see high pressure building and that's going to make those temperatures rise as that high pressure causes the air to sink and as it sinks it warms and it also gives us much more of a northerly wind instead of an ocean breeze and that wind coming over the land heats up as it moves across the hills and into the valleys. so we're going to have some hotter temperatures. let's head to walnut creek and show you the seven-day forecast. once again a really nice weekend. highs in the low 80s. early next week we're in the low 90s for memorial day into tuesday. that's when those temperatures will spike and then quickly come back down for tuesday into wednesday as a lot more people are heading back to work.
