6:07 am
we were just talking about those three fires to the north as well as a couple of fires to our soft and east across parts of the sierra. as we look at the upper levels of the atmosphere this model, we're aware that smoke will travel based on the wind direction and we can see light shades of blue, a brown tint to the sky throughout the weekend as it clears out, but then when you take a look at the near surface smoke, that smoke is moving away from us. this will not affect our air quality. we are keeping an eye on that because if there is a new fire that sparks closer to us, well that could decrease our air quality and cause more smoke to come in. we have to be careful this weekend because of how dry it is. we'll talk more about that fog in a few minutes. mike, what's going on right now for the commute? >> just like the air when you talked about the smoke moving but just shifting and not clearing out of the air we're all connected on the roadways as well. everybody is moving. green sensors around the bay, south bay, new incident, no problem for the longer drive for
