one of the best players in baseball trevor bauer was placed on leave today while the league looks into sexual assault allegations against him. in a statement, the mlb said they will continue to collectfo investigation. the 30-year-old player has not been criminally charged. he denies the accusations.

francisco. what's helping our temperatures might not be good for the fireworks shows. i think by sunday evening in san francisco, going to be watching the low clouds, once again. san jose, it's all about sunshine, a little bit of haze to the east. northwest wind at 17 miles per hour and we're seeing a temperature boost today for places like the valleys. they got to about 84 degrees. and i hope you like the temperatures, you're going to be seeing two more days of this as we head through saturday and sunday. it's 70 degrees. wind up to 25. oakland, out at the coliseum, we have the fireworks coming up after the a's game. the fireworks after the game. 66 right now. it's sunny outside there. but we do think we'll see some low clouds on approach as we head towards 9:00 tonight. if you're lucky enough to have tickets, take a jacket. for the morning, drizzle storm part iv. right there on the coast.

our highs tomorrow, 80 in downt down towards morgan hill. 70s, bay side from oakland into haywood. mid-60s closer to san francisco and north bay temperatures in the 70s and 80s. air quality this weekend, back into the moderate range but we don't think it's because of wildfire smoke. the upper level wind patterns are keeping most of that away from the bay area. we'll be around lake tahoe. watching the sierra not just for the smoke, but look at the clouds up there. a fire weather watch forke taho. we'll watch closely. loom at -- watch out for
