the delta variant is at finding the unvaccinated who lack protection against severe illness and death. delta is changing minds and motivating some people to get vaccinated, and santa clara county held an evening clinic tonight from 5:00 to 9:00 and it was busy. >> i have been working remotely since the last shutdown in december and personally, i felt low risk, and just being pregnant, i was not wanting to get the vaccine, but again, this with the delta variant being so contagious, it felt irresponsible at this point not to be vaccinated. >> new at 11:00 tonight, a state of emergency as governor newsom is issuing a proclamation because of the wildfires raging to the north of us. among them the dixie fire in butte and plume counties. nearly 170,000 acres charred. crews across the bay area are on
