every bay area county minus santa clara county will loosen its in-door mask mandates starting on wednesday if you are fully vaccinated. >> not everyone is ready to go maskless just yet. marianne favro explains. >> reporter: many shoppers are counting the days until wednesday when the state says they can shop in-doors without a face covering. david barkley has no plans to ditch his masks in-doors just yet. >> if i see a crowded store, i am going to wear mask because you never know. not all children are vaccinated yet. >> reporter: specialist dr. peter chin hong says that's a

news. masks inho? >> this week's change to the mask mandates will not impact kids in school. masks will have to stay on for children in who are on cam bus. dr. gali says in two weeks the state will reassess covid-19 data and look at vaccination rates and they'll make a determination if masks in school stays or if students are able to drop their masks. one bay area school is not waiting for the state. they're able to take their masks outside. in the classrooms, masks have to stay own. parents are glad kids are back in the classroom instead of learning remotely. >> he's happy and he'll wear his masks because he's so used to it. either way i am final with it on or off outside. >> other bay area school districts allowed students to
