might find some of this video disturbing. according to the ukraine state railway company, over 39 are dead, 87 others are injured. around 4,000 people were at the station at the time of the strike, when they were trying to flee to get to safer regions of ukraine. ukraine's president zelenskyy is accusing russian forces of destroying the civilian population. the russian military is denying the missile strike. developing now, the search is on for a driver in a deadly hit and run in san jose. it happened at ocala avenue about 6:30 last night by alum rock middle school. investigators say two people walking were hit. they later died at the hospital. the victims' identities so far have not been released. right now there's no information on the suspect's car or driver. this is the 13th and 14th pedestrian deaths in the city so far this year. 4:33, and today a formal

renewable energy for low income customers, rebates to replace gas applienses and incentives to install electric vehicle charging stations. >> let's look at our forecast now, and solar panels would be bringing in the dough. >> it's going to be very sunny the next few days. as we head into next week we are going to make up for that with some more clouds and possibly some rain. a lot of changes ahead. we are looking at our high temperatures for today versus the record. we are still on track to set some records today, even though it's going to be cooler than yesterday afternoon. take a look at santa rosa, the record is 81 degrees. we're headed for 83. concord 85. san francisco is going to continue to cool off and oakland will be just maybe one degree shy of a record high temperature. we're not expected to set one in san jose. as we take a look at all of our

microclimates for this afternoon and the seven-day forecast at the bottom of the screen, get ready for some much more comfortable weather today, and it continues to cool off tomorrow as our highs head for the mid to upper 70s. only a couple spots reaching 80 degrees. by sunday we're going to see highs for the most part in the 60s for the inner bay and low 70s for the inland east bay, as well as the south county, reaching 73 in santa rosa. looking ahead, we are going to see a couple of storm systems headed our way next week. models still going back and forth on whether or not we're going to get rain out of some of these. the first one on monday looks like it does bring in quick, scattered showers. before we get to the end of the week, the storm system that yesterday looked very promising right now is kind of fizzling out. we're once again going back and forth with this. and as we get closer, of course, we'll be able to fine-tune the details. there may be another shot of some rain by the end of next week. as of right now it looks like for next week we could get about

a quarter inch of rain, maybe a little higher in a few spots. our temperatures are still going to be going from the upper 80s in morgan hill to 70s for the weekend and only reaching 54 on monday for a high temperature. but you can see how it starts to go back to some more average spring weather by the end of next week and maybe even warming up by the end of next weekend. mike, you were checking out slowing on highway 101. >> that's right. we talked about the crash on south 101, coming down the peninsula. that is not having any slowing and i believe everything is moved off to the shoulder. i've been watching the sensors, i thought there was a blip. it's been sticking around. it's consolidating now. i believe this is it was extending past 92, but now we see it back here and the crews should be clearing over the next couple of minutes. i've heard about no delays. across from the east bay, the bay bridge is clear.

bullet wounds. he sat with his family and lawyer while announcing the federal civil rights lawsuit he was filing in a virtual news conference. >> i looked at my hands and there was blood all over. i keep seeing it, i keep seeing it. my leg, too. >> are you able to walk on your own? >> no, i need a walker. >> reporter: surveillance from march 27th shows a fight against the restaurant in the early morning hours. greene says that's when someone pulled a green and he disarmed him. >> treated like a criminal when all you're trying to do is save your friends' life. >> reporter: police say they knew none of that when they rushed toward the restaurant and as the police chief explained, what they found was a man coming out the front door with a gun in his hand. >> the officer knew that the person coming out of the restaurant was holding a gun and pointed it at others. >> reporter: police claim greene ignored repeated commands to drop the gun before one officer

fired repeatedly, hitting greene four times. the lawsuit disputes the claim, saying the officer opened fire without warning or without reasonable time for greene to comply with demands. >> if there was such a serious and imminent threat that mr. greene posed at the time when he was being a hero, why was there only one officer that fired. >> reporter: police have said greene does not face any charges, but says officers only knew they were face-to-face with a man carrying a gun when they had to decide whether to fire. they said they cannot comment on pending litigation. the college football standout does have a case here, greene's lawyer claims not only did police shoot the wrong man but may have damaged his chance at a career in college or professional football. 4:53 right now. this morning we have a renewed chance to follow the yellow brick road. next on "today in the bay" --
