says the fight for donbas has begun. raf, good morning. what can you tell us about this new phase of the war >> reporter: frances, good morning. we've been saying for weeks ukraine was braising for a fresh russian assault all across the east president zelenskyy says now that attack has begun. it is a very long front going all the way from kharkiv to the north through the donbas and down to mariupol on the southern coast of ukraine this is a front that will stretch ukrainian forces and russia will bring its enormous advances in numbers to bear, but president zelenskyy says his forces will fight no matter how many russian troops are driven there. he says, we will fight now, this will be a very different battle from what we have seen so far especially around the suburbs of kyiv, ukrainian forces there extremely successful with guerilla-style
