"they are expecting specific things and specific weapons," he says. fighting continued across the region. ukrainian officials say the russians stormed and bombarded the old steel plant. last ukrainian stronghold. and this morning fires burning at two oil related sites in breensic close to the ukrainian border. and yet the smell of fresh baked

weapons and opening off our embassy in kyiv. should it have been president biden? he travels with a much larger security entourage. would have been much harder to keep secret. >> defense secretary austin in briefing afterwards made remarks wanting russia to be weakened and unable to rebuild its military. were you struck by that? is that a significantly more aggressive posture then you would have expected the defense secretary to say outloud. >> i was glad he said it. i think it is clearly our policy in the west. we can't allow russia to do this again to ukraine. if we just push them back to the status quo, they could continue to have a military capability that could hold ukraine under threat. and i don't think we in the west should allow that. >> in his read out, president zelenskyy mentioned further sanctions, made that a point of stressing, something we didn't hear a lot from american officials about, tougher sanctions.

mccarthy expected to lead that group here in eagle pass later today where they are expected to discuss immigration, but specifically title 42. that is the policy that's turned back so many asylum seekers here at u.s./mexico border since the pandemic began. in washington president biden expected to meet with the caucus to discuss rolling back its policy. this morning the latest clash over border policy. >> we won't just fight to secure the border. we will secure the border. >> reporter: republican lawmakers visiting eagle pass texas today drawings attention to a crisis that will only be exacerbated by the biden administration's plans to end title 42. a public health policy that allows for the expedited removal of migrants. that order has blocked more than 1.7 million attempts to o cross the southern border. in march alone accounting for half of the migrants expelled. the republicans say repealing title 42 are lead to a bigger spike of migrants entering the

we are back in our dearly beloved sheinelle is here. sheinelle you lost your grandfather. and he meant so much to you. so much to his community how are you doing? >> thank you guys so much for all of the posts and cards and well wishes. i will tell you, my grandfather was born in 1924 and his father was a physician in the early '20s. and his father passed. my grandfather was only one. his father was very well known in the community and so growing up he always felt like he had to follow in his father's foot steps and boy did he ever. so many people were coming by the house this weekend and hugging my grandmother they were married for 72 years so thankful for his life and it has been tough my heart is heavy but i am so thankful for the legacy that he left us. anybody grieving knows it is just tough and sometimes you just have to sit in it but you look outside and see the sun and grace everywhere and you know it is going to be alaska and you guys have been amaze >> and you are still learning things about him. >> i had no idea he served in the army five years. the army helped put him through howard med school.
