investigation. a live look, if you have some unpaid bridge tolls hanging around, get ready to pay up. the bay area toll authority says there are millions of dollars in unpaid bridge tolls and the clock is ticking. christie smith says many are pushing back saying the collection efforts -- targeting those who can least affect afford it. >> reporter: most often they use -- bill in the mail and then just ignore it. the toll authority says it is tracking -- millions in unpaid tolls plus another $100 million and wants to get back what it is owed. >> we are obliged to forward these unpaid crossings to dmv within three years and so we are halfway through that cycle. >> reporter: one of the spokespersons says the overdue

the company says it can be helpful when you're planning your next outdoor adventure. i want to bring jeff into talk about this because there is a human version of that especially today the air quality with us -- i was our air quality today? >> we are looking at decreasing air quality, some of the worst air quality over the east bay and south bay and it is expected to go unhealthy in those areas so the alert is in effect through tomorrow for the south bay and east bay. whenever you get hot temperatures it cooks the pollutants in the atmosphere and that is a lot of the haze you see off towards the distance that eventually becomes unhealthy to breathe. a little bit more, we are holding onto 92. 10 to 15 degrees hotter than this time yesterday. a little bit of a breeze and it will be a warm night. 90 at 5:00 p.m. and we will -- six, seven, 8:00. today was day one and tomorrow is going to reach its maximum

here with this area of high pressure sitting over the west. it is so frustrating. we have some record-setting rainfall to the north over washington and oregon and none of that -- all on the hot side of this weather pattern. tomorrow morning, it is not going to be that bad as you -- starting off in the 60s, mostly sunny skies, north bay 64. east bay 65. the problem is we will only have numbers like this for a couple of hours and then we will see some very fast warming. south bay we are at 100 and may forecast -- 98 organ hill, 94 san jose. nice high weatherch low 100s, not quite that hot here for oakland. we still have a breeze off of the bay. that is a warm day for you at 88. at the peninsula 93. san francisco, 80s in downtown

the police department is celebrating lgbt peak lgbtq plus month, rainbow flag was raised outside its headquarters this morning. it is a symbol of diversity and inclusion and he says he hopes it will show the community members and department staff that they have the agencies support. >> it allows us to acknowledge the struggles and challenges the lgbtq plus community has endured. i know our work is not done and i'm committed to listening and engaging with our community to build a better community. >> four years ago they became the first major police department in the country to raise the rainbow flag outside of the offices. more than 50,000 people
