cal fire says that this fire is one acre right now. the question is, what is going to happen next with the conditions? let's check in to find out. >> any time we are looking at elevated fire conditions, we like that not only the temperatures but we also take a look at the humidity and the winds which play a big role with how quickly a fire gets going. when you look at this map, that is right near the alamo ranch road area. you can see it is around a lot of vegetation. as you guys know, we haven't seen any real rain in quite some time. the temperatures right now are in the 90s, 93%. the winds, out of the southwest at about 14 miles per hour. however, take a look at that humidity. we are at 20%. when we are looking at humidity, what is a good number quantum we want to see that

about 40% anytime it drops below that we are dealing with dry conditions. heading into tomorrow, the winds don't get dusty, but the temperatures will remain in the 90s and that humidity does remain in that 20 to 30% mark. so right near this area, when you think about all of that dry brush, when you are driving around the highway, you look out on the hill and see how dry it is. that is going to be our biggest threat as we take a look at the temperature throughout the entire bay area. look at vacaville, we are at 99 degrees right now. 92 in livermore, if you look at the fire danger index and humidity. all of this area shaded in red, 17%, if you are in livermore, 16. we see a pretty good recovery into the late-night hours, but because we have that high- pressure. we are really going to see these dry conditions again, it is not extremely gusty right now. that will work in our favor. i will take a closer look at what we are expecting into sunday, as far as fire danger and those temperatures coming in in just a few minutes.
