the first notion that i latched on to when writing this movie is this idea of making a spectacle. i wanted to make a flying saucer movie because i just felt like if we can feel like we are in the presence of something other, something -- we feel that's real, then that's just an immersive experience worthy of going to the movies. >> i read in an interview recently that you maintain this is not a film that could have been made five years ago why not? >> i think this idea of, you know, letting a black director put his vision into a film and commit to it let's put it this way, i didn't think they would let me do that five years ago so much of my career before i became a director was, you know, marred with this internalized sense that i could never be allowed to be. no one would ever trust me with money.

it is wellness wednesday this morning we have diy remedies for common summer home treatments is integrative well "super woman wellness podcast. it's a great podcast dr. taz, i love home remedies. let's get started with dehydration. just drink water you have something a little better. >> definitely. there is so much in your refrigerator that can you do when you have dehydration. this is electrolyte water can you make for yourself. water. pick any fruit this is lemon. you can also use orange, a pinch of honey and sea salt. mix it all together.
