we are looking over to an earlier issue off of 101. there are no more crashes here. flat tire is getting some assistance but south 280 just off of 101 has no injuries here. looks like everything should be off the shoulder but look at the transition completes on the oakland side toward the bridge by the time i check that everything was moving smoothly they just cleared this level with a nice easy drive. same thing for the north bay. mayor island will be the first

to show any slowing. near that transition ramp under another slow crash. activity and some paperwork but you can see them on the shoulder. no big surprises. we see sam martin and morgan hill pushing up to the top bay. >> it has been hot the past couple days coming into the 90s. very similar to yesterday's weather pattern where the inland areas so most of the heat and around the coast in the bay we keep them hanging out. look at the slide shot you can see it right above there. current temperatures are out the door in the 50s and 60s even in some spots. no big changes compared to the past 24 hours because there is high pressure to the southeast and a bit of a low on the opposite end of that. so we are in the middle of that but that's going to keep the

temperatures and the below record heat. your satellite radar is pretty calm. you can see it around the coastline. what can we expect for the daytime highs? 80s and 90s. look at morgan hill coming in at 94 degrees. 87 and through the interior 70s for the east bay and then we warm up by as much as 15 degrees toward concorde and antioch. nearing triple digits but it is enough below to keep us out of those record highs. around the peninsula will be will be in the upper 70s and into san francisco bay do expect another day of breezy wind from the west coming in about 18 to 20 miles per hour especially into your afternoon hours. so it will be comfortable in the north bay areas. 88 over the next seven days. here's a closer look at what to expect. the temperatures will be in the 90s and we will sort of stay there cooling-off a little bit

going into tomorrow. the weather pattern does remain pretty consistent dry clear and sunny but those temperatures will be in the 90s at least through tomorrow we will cool off a bit because of the low pressure system but it's not going to bring us any big changes going into saturday and sunday once again linger around the coastline and that will help keep those temperatures just a little bit cooler around the bay and the coast. climate in crisis. we are halfway through 2022 and the u.s. has experienced $9.1 billion worth of weather disasters. the disasters do include a drought disaster in southern areas. to hailstorm disasters and to tornado outbreaks. the president is working to address the issue in somerset massachusetts where he touched
