bodies. and the coroner's office was able to confirm that one of the bodies belonged to his dad thomas earnedt. >> it is nice to have closure and know he is at peace, but i am not ready for my closure yet. it has been so hard think of it that way. >> reporter: as he is trying to remember the hobbies that he did with his dad, and hoping that the receding lake waters brings closure for other families, too. the clark county coroner's office says that the work is not done, because they have three other skeletal remains that were found. melissa, bay area news.

mountain lion was spotted in hollister friday morning and officers along with crew from the zoo tried to sedate him, but the officers fired as he rushed towards them. he was taken to the oakland zoo for emergency surgery, but he died. they posted on social media saying that while trying to capture him, he was shot by local pdment hollis ster pd said on facebook, the choice of words is careless at best and misleading at worst. adding that the zoo's post characterized their actions as reckless and impatient, and that the department says set not true. now, for the follow-up story that is brought to you as breaking news yesterday. a teenager stabbed in san jose has die. officers responded to the east of town around 1:30 yesterday. you can see it happening at quinnby road, and hairston way,

welcome back, everyone. time for the weekly talk with chuck todd, nbc's political director and moderator of "meet the press." thank you for joining us. >> absolutely. >> we have been talking about the search of the mar-a-lago search affidavit, and what do you think are the repercussions, of president trump himself, and ongoing investigation, and such a huge concern of continuously expressed by the justice department? >> well, look, number within, you will actually see laws be rewritten and changed in order to prevent this potential from happening with a future president. like what we have seen after january 6th. you know, all of the sudden, vulnerabilities that we didn't know were there when you have a

former president or sitting president not abiding by certain what we call them norms or institutional normalities that he suddenly decided to ignore, and there are some constitutional questions about how much authorities that he had or didn't have, and the biggest thing that came through on the affidavit is that they have plenty of evident that he broke the law already, and the fact that he did not pursue an indictment is that they are very well investigating something more serious than mishandling the classified information. there are people in prison right now that have done less with classified information than what this affidavit has already laid out. >> and even though a lot of it is redacted, there is enough there to result in criminal charges. >> it is what they have found and that he already has more, and it is the mishandling, and

san jose though, you will get some good cleaning by the time that the coastline will, and we are expecting the parade to be perfect, and for the parade. dublin is 77 degrees. we have talked about the ocean breeze, and so it is going to be a breezy afternoon, and the downtown at 70 degrees, and some spots into the 80s. i want to talk about the air quality advisory, because it has been issued due up to a fire in south oregon, and the drifting smoke could make its impact from the rub creek fire, and from the north bay to the east bay, and you will be seeing the moderate air quality. what happens is when the drifting smoke moves in, it could create the pockets of unhealthy air quality. make sure that you close the windows and stay indoors. this afternoon, by 2:30, you will see some warmer spots

through tracy, but elsewhere, we will be comfortable, in upper 70s, and santa rosa, 77, and in san francisco in the upper 60s, and then a warmup on the way, and this is why awant to take advantage of the temperature, and then we will bump up headed toeb the daytime highs, and take a look at the breezes for the start of the work week, and another foggy start. the coastal fog is going to linger around. and we will have a warmup that is going to impact san francisco and heading into thursday, friday and saturday. as far as the inland daytime highs a closer look as to what to expect in the rides of the temperatures. 80s today, and starting to climb tomorrow, but really, we will look at the bump up into the mid- to lower 90s.

we have his story. >> my dad said why not, and took off his shirt, and jumped into the water. >> reporter: kyle earnedt was there when his dad took a group out there on a boat in lake mead. he was a jokester and the next thing we knew he was yelling for help. >> reporter: he remembers searching for his dad, but they never saw him again. and now, 31, tom has spent the last two decades holding out hope that his dad is alive. this year, the declining lake levels has led to the discovery of several bodies. he said that the clerk coroner's office asked him and his sister to do dna test, and he said that county was able to confirm that one of the bodies belonged to his dad, thomas earnedt. >> it is nice to have the

trove of goodies, they said, there were top secret documents, and we need to make sure that there are not anymore, and that is why the judge gave them a search warrant to look for more. they had seen bad stuff, and they went back for more. >> even though it was released, it was redacted over half of it, is not a show of transparency. what do you think? >> the government is saying that you can't have transparency when the document contains names of spies that worked for us or defense systems or youk leer issues that she needs to know about, and this is why the government is making that case. >> and people have been losing

their lives over this. >> and the president said that no previous president's home has been raided like this, and he is calling it a witch hunt, and what are your thoughts on that? >> you know what, he is right. no previous president has ever had his home raided like this or searched like this, but another side to the issue, no previous president has ever walked away with hundreds or perhaps thousands of documents, and many of which belong in the national archives or places or top secret places where they cannot be found you put yourself in a bad situation to walk away with something that does not belong to you, and that is why they had to go to ged things to safety. >> now that has been done, and could the president be charged with a crime? >> well, candice, we have to put the drama aside, and we won't know for months. any time you are getting into
