good tuesday morning to you. thanks so much for starting your day with us. i'm laura garcia. te in just a bit. first, kari, let's talk about that forecast today. walked outside this morning, a little bit warmer. >> might feel a little bit more humid and warm, but this is our usual start this morning. right at about 60 degrees in san jose and san francisco seeing a little bit of the low clouds and fog. in brentwood, we're at about 57 degrees as you head out. we will have a few clouds for the next couple of hours, but then as we go into late morning into the afternoon, it's going to be nice but just slightly warmer compared to yesterday. take a look at our high temperatures for this afternoon with oakland reaching 73. also 73 in hayward and mountain view and san mateo. 84 in livermore as well as morgan hill and sar martin. 83 in santa rosa. our warming trend continues throughout the week. mike, you have a very serious crash on the peninsula. this just popped up into the

chp report. we've been hearing there may be something going up here. the pacifica/daly city area. skyline boulevard. hickey and king feed over. i nope it's a considerable distance. there was a deadly crash, a hit-and-run reported in the area. there's likely to be an investigation. we're hearing 9:00 before they'll open that major, large surface street. it is technically a state route. we're following that. the rest of the highways, freeways, expressways moving smoothly throughout the east bay. fog in the north bay. back to you. thank you very much, mike. 4:32 right now. look at the grief. an outpouring of love and support for a family that lost two sons to gun violence over the week. the teenage brothers, both students at berkeley high, shot and killed at a house party saturday night. >> this morning police are still looking for multiple shooters

who opened fire at that party. "today in the bay's" cheryl hurd reports that search is taking place as an entire community is grieving. >> reporter: it was standing room only, family, friends, teachers, and people who didn't even nope the brothers are here to grieve, remember and pay their respects. family members arriving with flowers walking into the school cafeteria filled with people who came to remember 15-year-old angel and 17-year-old jayz soleto-garcia, two brothers who were shot and killed at a house party at an airbnb in oakland. >> they were my brothers. i know we all miss them. there's a lot of pain for my mom and my family, friends. >> reporter: sharing was difficult for all. you could hear the pain in the voices of those strong enough to take the mic and share their thoughts. >> they're such good kids.

i just can't even believe that something like this could happen. and the holes this leaves. >> reporter: the family sharing this photo with us showing all six children, the brothers who were killed, are on either side of the picture. angel on the left, jayz on the right. oakland police say angel and jayz were at a party saturday night when three people drove up, walked into the home and started shooting. family members say jayz had just called his mom to pick them up just before shots were fired. chief leronne armstrong does not believe it was gang related but targeted after a disagreement about conflicts at school. >> this is a community issue that we have to remove guns at the hands of young people. it is putting our children at risk. >> i can't even imagine as a mother not to bury one child but

two children. >> reporter: a member of the oakland motorcycle club the dragons said he had to come to show this latest killing affects everyone. >> for these kids just to go out looking to have a good time with some friends and lose a life over what? some senseless stuff, i guarantee you. it has to stop. >> reporter: cheryl hurd, "today in the bay." also this morning, police are investigating yet another deadly shooting. it is the 100th homicide this year in oakland. just before 3:00 yesterday afternoon police found a man who had been shot at a home in west oakland. he died at the scene. this is the third year in a row oakland has reached that grim milestone of 100 homicides. also this morning, new video is surfacing from that school shooting that left six people injured in oakland. police want you to get a good look at the surveillance video. it shows the moments right before the group of people were shot on the king estate campus

last week. now look closely. police are hoping that someone can identify the men in this video. police say that shooting was gang related. the shooters apparently tracked down a student from their old school who had just enrolled. and after being closed since last thursday, king estate campus is tentatively set to reopen tomorrow. santa rosa police on the hunt for a man wanted in connection to a violent carjacking, and a warning. surveillance video may be disturbing. you see a man approach a pickup truck sunday afternoon near 1st and 8th streets in santa rosa. police say he initially asked the 67-year-old driver about buying the truck. video then shows him punching the victim through the open window and striking him repeatedly after opening the door and dragging him from the truck. police say the man was beaten unconscious. they've identified the suspect as rico richard leaton-gomez, a recently released carjacking

felon from windsor. after initially driving away investigators say he abandoned the truck and ran. if you see him, you should contact santa rosa police. people in san francisco, in the neighborhood there, they are fed up with sideshows just tearing up their streets. this is at the intersection. even as police are approaching, you can see someone is spinning doughnuts in the intersection. it appears someone may have gotten hit by the same car. police say they have no reports of any injuries. no arrests were made either but police recorded license plates of some of the cars so they could be tracked down later. neighbors say those stunts are becoming too common. >> it could be any day of the week, not just a weekend. it's kind of anytime. >> buildings were tagged and crosswalks need to be repaired. engineers are now looking at
