welcome back. every month, it seem, we report a story about some decades-old business closing its doors for good somewhere in the bay area, but this is not one of those stories. in fact, thanks to one longtime customer it's quite the opposite. one of the charms of san francisco is people come to live here and if your roots are mexico and china there are lots of places where you can buy a taste of home. what about a taste of germany? apparently, there are aren't as many choices and keeping one of those businesses alive means quite a lot.
