jay gray, nbc news >> for more on that storm's path, let's bring in angie lassman. good morning >> good morning, guys. another busy day for us. we still have the potential for tornados in the past 24 hours, already 12 reported, and we'll likely see more where that came from. we've seen tornado warnings throughout the morning already and this system continues to move off to the east plenty of lightning and heavy rain associated with this as well but those aren't the only threats. i mentioned the tornados we have gusty winds that are possible with some of these stronger storms that could gust up to 70 miles per hour along with the hail. these are all impacts that we saw across texas, louisiana and mississippi yesterday. and just a slight shift off to the east for the best chance for the impact of tornados for louisiana, parts of alabama, mississippi and extending into the panhandle of florida that's really the bull's eye of where we could see long-track tornados, those stronger
