temperatures and what it feels like, that wind chill, will make it feel a lot lower. so we're looking at the north bay that's highlighted in red and purple showing that it's going to be gusty throughout the morning, very high northerly wind behind the front and the system that moved through yesterday that brought snow to the sierra, we are going to see some breezy winds all throughout today. so just a heads-up about that. but as far as temperatures, we're only making it into the low to mid-50s for a lot of spots. in the tri-valley reaching a high of 50 degrees. tomorrow just slightly warmer with upper 50s. then wednesday, how about 62 degrees? san jose, morgan hill? that's the warmest we'll see. our morning temperatures are really going to be of concern. we have warming centers that are opening because of the lows that will dip down into the upper 20s and low 30s tomorrow morning once the wind calm down. we're looking at a quiet weather pattern. rain now pushing to the south.
4:50 am
we'll go throughout the week with dry weather. but heading toward the weekend we'll see rain chances returning from late thursday into friday, another wave moving in on sunday. so it looks like at this point we could see these systems holding together and bringing us a significant amount of rainfall over the next several days. for the weekend, we could see anywhere from 1 to about 1 1/2 inches across much of the bay area once that rain comes in. but once again, we're just cold for the next few mornings. also kind of chilly throughout the days and not much of a warm-up throughout the week. mike, you're seeing some of the road work is wrapping up? >> yeah, it's sunday into monday. we do still have this going on in the tri-valley. green sensors for most of the bay. yellow and orange northbound, there should be a full closure there. but that crew should be clearing any minute now. we'll watch. 84 is your alternate and it shows an early build. altamont pass, no issues.
