possibly an atmospheric river coming in which could enhance the threat of flooding, as well as melting some of the sierra snow at some of the lower elevations. that also would increase our possibility of seeing more flooding here over the weekend. so we're watching out for that. in the near-term forecast, we will be chilly, and also some breaks in the clouds, some sunshine peeking out tomorrow and wednesday. mike, you're still tracking that crash on vasco road? >> yeah, we got a little more detail. this explains why the slowing is south of the crash. it's not a second crash. that's the location, where we have the southbound lanes blocked now. i'm not sure if there's a car fire related to the crash, but we are hearing about fire crews on scene. that's adding to the slowdown. the crash is about 5 miles south of where we thought it was. it is on vasco road southbound side. we're at a half hour now and

first, a rant, please. resort fees are totally completely undeniably out of control. now that we've established how inhospitable i feel resort fees are, let's look at five ways you can try to beat them. our first trick is to check your rate. if you already have a reservation, you're not necessarily locked into a rate with a resort fee. many hotel reservations can be revised right up until the week you arrive. second, comparison shop for package deals. third, see if your company has a negotiated hotel rate. many employers, especially the big ones, broker deals with the hotel chains. part of that negotiation is getting rid of corporate fees.
