welcome back. good friday morning to you. taking a live look outside, overlooking san jose. a little cloud cover. tracking your forecast. you may be waking up to wet pavement as well. kari has a look at that. and it is a home opener for the giants and we're hoping the rain moves away. >> yeah, we're watching the forecast very closely, because as we go throughout the next few hours it's going to be raining, but it looks like in time for first pitch the rain chances will be going down. so take a look at stormranger right now. we are seeing quite a bit of that rain moving right through san francisco and over toward the east bay, and we've seen the rain in the north bay for a few hours. but it is getting a little bit lighter there. we're zooming into the spots that are getting the heaviest rain, right there on the bay bridge, and also as you're moving into the spots like oakland and over toward emeryville and berkeley. that's where the heaviest rain is pouring right now. we just had heavy rain in walnut

creek. now that's moving around toward mount diablo and we'll see it move into the delta in the next few minutes. overall, the storm system is moving through fairly quickly and we're also going to see eventually some dryer weather for the afternoon. but it won't completely clear out. take a look at our hour-by-hour forecast, at 7:00 still showing rain over the same areas where we're seeing it right now. that lasts another couple of hours. and not much of the rain for the south bay. so really at times we're just looking at a couple of sprinkles here and there, and that's going to be the case for the inland parts of the east bay through the tri-valley. toward noon, we're starting to see much less activity, but the clouds will remain overhead. so that's right in time for first pitch. once again, the rain chance is going down and pretty much drying out going into the evening. there will be a very slight chance of rain at first pitch, but as the game goes on, we'll see clouds overhead, breezy winds and temperatures reaching
4:50 am
into the upper 50s. tomorrow we are going to see temperatures really warming up for the inland areas, into the upper 60s, and overall we're looking at rain, about a tenth to a quarter inch of rain for most of us. but there will be more rain ahead, especially for the middle of next week. and we're also going to see the possibility of more cold front coming in. i think the temperatures will drop off significantly after a nice little break from the cold and wintry feeling weather. take a look at brentwood, headed for the mid-70s for easter into early next week, then drop back into the mid-60s by next wednesday. mike, you're seeing rain coming out of richmond. >> yes, the cameras are showing damp or wet pavement, we're looking toward san rafael, actively seeing water on the lens. the green highlighting all over the map, so you will have wet pavement. we are seeing slower sensors for eastbound 580 and eastbound 24, getting away from the bay
