while you were sleeping. the a's taking a major step in plans to leave oakland for las vegas. the team agreed to purchase land for a new stadium off the strip. they are buying 49 acres of land near the raiders stadium. the a's lease ends next year, and it's not clear how the team could play in the desert without some kind of domed stadium in place. here's a statement from last night. for more than 20 years the a's have focused on securing a new home for the club in oakland, even with support from fans, leaders at the city, county and state level. the process to build al new ballpark in oakland has made little forward progress. we recognize this is very hard to hear as we shift our focus to vegas, we will continue to share details about next steps.

though he's a low-risk offender, and that could be a difficult time. >> as far as time for balwani and holmes, how much time do you think you will spend behind bars? >> in federal time, you have to do 85% of that. we are talking about a lot of time. there are incentive programs to ensure good behavior, so he may shave a little of that time off, but in federal prison he will do 85%, and that's a long haul for him. >> will we see the same with elizabeth holmes? >> she is continuing her fight and will have the same issue, and it's the same fate for her where the appellant court will say it's time to start your time, and she is scheduled for the end of april where she will have to report, and that will be
