5:47 am
>> reporter: after meeting with the girl scouts last week, the town reached a temporary solution for the summer that includes extra signage on the road to warn others of the presence of buses at the time of drop-off and pickup. >> we'll also have at the park entrance, we'll have either a deputy sheriff or a park ranger with their vehicles, lights, informing motorists coming down, vehicles or cyclists that there are buses on the road and they need to be slow and cautious. >> reporter: they told us the camp will have to continue to apply for transportation permits to use the large buses. as for burkhardt, he hopes they can all reach a more permanent solution, but wishes they had listened to his warnings. >> with better timing, i could have been uninjured and worse timing, i could have been killed. >> reporter: the town will hold a meeting tomorrow evening to discuss the ordinance. with the investigative unit, hilda gutierrez. >> if you have a story for our investigative unit, you can call the number right there on your screen, 888-996-tips.
