nair. >> and i'm jessica layton. this morning we want to begin with what is the deadliest wildfire in u.s. history officials confirming that at least 93 people have been killed on the island of maui and they are warning that the number will likely climb more than 2,000 homes and other buildings have been destroyed and police say so far they've really just been searching the cars in the streets as of sudden they had only searched about 3% of those structures. >> just so you know, 3%, that's what's been searched with the dogs, 3% when we pick up the remains and they fall apart, and so when you have 200 people running through the scene yesterday, i don't know how much more you want me to describe it >> a new class action lawsuit alleges the destruction could have been avoided if the utility company had deenergized power lines ahead of the weather
