compared to yesterday where we were seeing 90s. today in hayward expect it to reach 71 degrees. 75 in concord and also about 71 in san mateo. so there's not a big range in temperatures as you travel across the bay area, but it does start to spread out a little more tomorrow as we'll see temperatures in half moon bay in the upper 60s, oakland reaching 73, and 80 in concord, as well as fairfield. by sunday, it's about the same, but really this labor day weekend it's going to feel like fall. it's going to be a nice change. but, also, a little bit of rain in the mix as well. so just keep that in mind for outdoor plans. i wouldn't cancel any, but we are going to see the potential of quick-passing showers. take a look at tomorrow morning, we could see off and on light rain moving through, and mostly cloudy throughout the day. that's a lot of moisture coming in for this time of year, when it's usually pretty dry. so take a look at santa rosa, the next ten days we're going from 70 today to low 70s

throughout the labor day weekend, and then next week we're going back to summer with some low to mid-80s. so it's going to be windy today and a chance of spotty showers, and looking great up until it does start to heat up once again, temperatures peaking next tuesday. mike, you were tracking a crash in the east bay. >> over here, we're looking at 24. there's a crash west 24 at telegraph. there must be some activity arriving to move a vehicle out of the lanes. there's slowing on the approach to the maze. the maze itself, we're moving smoothly. from highway 4 down to the bay bridge, that's a critical section we typically time. we are not going to time this section because you're not going to drive it from vallejo down to highway 4. that continues with the closure coming into the bay area, the east bay. heading out to the north bay, that is still open, so is the benicia bridge and the timing from highway 4 is at the minimum 13 minutes. back to you. >> thanks a lot. next on "today in the bay,"
