87 in pleasanton, and fremont, 72 in oakland. we're also going to have the warmer weather for palo alto, redwood city in the upper 70s, while daly city will reach up to 63 degrees in san francisco, back to the upper 60s, and for the north bay, mill valley reaching 80 degrees while napa hits a high of 80 for today. we're seeing milder weather, looking ahead to see how things could change over the next several months. and what's happening with our ocean surface temperatures and what's average, we've been talking about el nino, and basically warmer than normal sea surface temperatures near the equator, with an el nino advisory that's at 95% of this happening for our fall and winter months, with it peaking between december and february, it looks like this could affect the rainfall patterns as we see a shift in the trade winds, and that also affects how we see the storm systems developing, and move over the california coast,
6:19 am
and into the rest of the country, and sometimes it really just depends on where the jet stream sets up that could signal more rainfall, or if it shifts farther to the south we could see some dryer conditions, that's something we're going to be watching over the next several months. as we transition to el ino, things are nice and calm. temperatures are reaching into the upper 80s and it's warm now but we are headed for cooler temperatures, only reaching to the upper 70s for the start of next week with some breezy winds, and in san francisco, we're not going to see much of a change here, we're continuing with highs in the 60s throughout the weekend. mike, what's happening at the bay bridge now? >> we have the backup, and it has built a bit over the last few, but notice we do see movement for these lanes, i think they're going to start speeding up the metering lights and i'll explain why, and also what else we can see. these are the h.o.v. lanes and they're moving smoothly. that means it's only the main track with lanes that are having an issue, as far as the backup goes and, again, it's partially
