day. then we have sunshine but also a few high clouds. we will combine the all day sea breeze and cloud cover. temperatures will run cool again tomorrow. we start the day with upper 50s and low 60s and by lunch time partial clearing inland and are high is still about 10 degrees below average. 75, san jose, upper 60s, san francisco and 71 degrees in oak. clearly has mid 80s but you have to had far north. speaking of areas to north watching for afternoon thundershowers north of mendocino county and near the sierra but around the bear area not much has changed as the ocean and air conditioning states act monday into tuesday temperatures thing into mid-to- upper 70s. you can see a slight warm-up around the corner and it looks a wednesday we can briefly see mid 80s, lynn towards east bay valley and around morgan hill.

the second half of the week make it interesting as an early weather system drops down and possibly rings showers near the sierra and it is cool enough that the higher peaks may get a dusting of snow. these patterns are typically more wind as opposed to showers so we will have to watch the north wind speeds but no sound -- signs of any high pressure. for the most part missing us to the north and to the east as these cool temperatures remain locked in in the forecast. san francisco staying in the 60s. then we cool down again and for those of use who likes precise numbers is the equinox 11:49 at night and friday next week we are officially moving into fall the temperatures have been there for a while and they will stay there through the seven- day forecast. >> if you like summer,

the city of center cruise is rushing to repair a levy app for vandalism damage the cities and protection. they say plants were planted along the levee and there was no permit for those plans. the rock levy provides protection against erosion during high flood events. it's not clear who is behind the vandalism. they removed three cubic yards of rock and sand. -- also installed homemade signs of the cities level. >> the national park service announced a tentative reopening date for death valley. tropical storm hillary brought rain and flash flood plugging them too close. it all depends on whether repairs are made in time. every single in the road --
