girl. >> reporter: a desperate search is under way for thi friends on a camp be trip in saratoga county, not far from her home now teams are searching by ground, air and water looking for any trace of this little girl this morning a desperate search is underway for 9-year-old charlotte sena, who police say may have bee abducted while out biking in upstate new york searching for the little girl on the ground and through the air. >> we are leaving no stone, no branch, no table, no cabin unturned. >> reporter: police issued an amber alert sunday morning after her parents reported charlotte missing during a family camping trip >> when we couldn't find her here, it was quite possible an abduction had taken place. >> reporter: authorities say charlotte was last seen about 6:15 saturday evening in moreau state park riding her bike in a loop with her friends. that's when the fourth grader decided to go around one last time by herself before the sun went down. 15 minutes later, she still had not returned to the camp site. >> her parents immediately knew something was up they called her name

the union expanding its walkout against two of the nation's big three car companies. this morning a larger strike is looming now in the healthcare industry jesse kirsch is covering both stories for us where does it stand now between the uaw and the big three automakers >> yeah, good morning. right now the stalemate continues. you can still see out in front of this stellantis factory, we have picketers out here. horns honking this morning and they even have a fire going because it was chillier out last night. but the jeepmaker, stellantis, avoided further strike targeting on friday, saying that the compan made progress at the last minute stellantis said there are still gaps to work through gm and ford were both hit with expanded strikes on friday for ford, that was in stark happened from what had happened just a week earlier from that company when it had averted getting hit with further striking motions the union's president saying he

believes he ford went backward in bargaining. ford's ceo says he believes the union at this point is largely holding up a deal over electric vehicle battery plants you remember that evs and the union's role in them is a concerning topic that's been underpinning a lot of these negotiations. and evs could require fewer jobs to be made. >> as we keep an eye on that strike, there is word that there could potentially be a strike in the healthcare industry? what do you know >> reporter: yeah. this would potentially be a big one, savannah. we're talking 75,000 health care workers at kaiser permanente across multiple states that could be going on strike midweek without an agreement that would be a three-day strike potentially. this could be the largest health care worker strike in u.s. history. workers are protesting what they call a short staffing crisis they're demanding better pay, better medical plans, all of this is happening with kaiser permanente.

they have dozens of hospitals, hundreds of medical care facilities across the country. the organization saying it has hired more than 50,000 front line workers in the last two years, and addin that it is, quote, optimistic that an agreement could be reached to avert this. but ticket lines could include nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, therapists. if this were to materialize, we're talking about issues with getting appointments to be held and for longer wait times as well definitely something to keep an eye on across the country this week >> absolutely. you will let us know thank you very much. a lot more to get to, including lottery fever. there is still time to snag a ticket for tonight's huge powerball drawing. the jackpot is over $1 billion nobody hit it big last saturday night. that's the ninth largest jackpot prize of all time. that pot is climbing steadily. there were no winners since

washington over the weekend. senator feinstein will lie in state at san franciscs city hall wednesday, which will be open to the public. then on thursday, a funeral service wl be held in the hertzatre at the war memorial and performing arts center. that service will not be open to the public, but it will be streamed online. city hall will open today for people to sign condolence books. governor newsom has officially named her replacement, laphonza butler becomes the first gay u.s. senator in history and the second black woman to represent california in the senate. the president of emily's list, butler led the political action committee to raise money to help elect democratic female candidates who support abortion rights. turning to oakland, where police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened last night around 9:30, and oakland police sergeant told our photographer on scene officers responded to the shooting on arthur street, where the victim did die.

story to help other women and facing the diagnosis with the same intensity she brought to her legendary career. >> so i went public with my diagnosis to help other women. >> and we are so delighted to have martina along with us andd? >> well, finally feel like i can go to the gym. i have really steve also this morning. steve, we'll talk to you as a part of the story. you look fantastic how are you feeling? how are you doing? >> well, finally feel like i can go to the gym. i have really been -- physically it's been the hardest thing i have ever gone through i almost get ptsd when i come to new york because my treatment was here i had two cancers at the same time, so it was very trying. but now got a haircut. some thinning going on, but i feel pretty good thankful it could have been so much worse. >> when you go through cancer

the first time, i know one of the recurring fears is, is it ever going to come back. when you did learn that it was, in fact, back, although it was many years later, what were the first emotions you were feeling in that moment >> the first one i was diagnosed with throat cancer when they were looking to see where it was, that's when they found a lump on my breast as well i knew it was cancer because it lit up on the mri. i'm like, great, i got a double whammy two totally different cancers unrelated to the first one so i've had now three different cancers, and i'm trying to figure out why genetically, there is nothing there. i'm trying to figure out -- am i that lucky or that unlucky lightening doesn't strike twice. this one, three times. hopefully there won't be a fourth time, but i have been very diligent about the screenings since the first time around 13 years ago. because of that, i caught it early, both of them, we caught it early because i paid attention. so that's what i want to talk about. i want women to pay attention to

their bodies you take care of everybody else. you take care of the animals when we get the card for the rabie vaccination, we take them tomorrow we get the card about the mammogram, oh, i'll do it later. the first time around was four years between screenings, so i'm thankful for the equipment they have to find it early. >> we'll bring steve into it because you have a 3d mammogram, which is really fascinating. m martina, you are so tough you are an epic, epic champion did that help you, do you think, in the way that you at least even mentally took on this challenge? >> as a tennis player, you fail all the time every other point you lose, so you have to recover. and i think the mentality of coming back and believing and staying positive and then -- and, you know, surrounding yourself with a good team, that was very helpful and chris and i went through the

same thing essentially emotionally. and we spoke to each other and realized how much that mentality, the champion's mentality you have to have to be a champion in any sport really brought us together and helped us get through this. you have to stay in the moment you have to stay in the solution you have to stay positive. >> what does it mean to have her in your court? you guys were rivals for many years. there you two were fighting hand in hand. >> we have always been there for each other emotionally through our break-ups and whatever i have been through two marriages. then she came to mine. so we have been so intertwined it's amazing how much our paths have been on a similar path. and this time around on a bad path but i was there for her when chris went through it, and she was there for me it was amazing that it was

almost like twins where i was really feeling low, there was chris, either a text or a call and, yeah, the timing. >> the story of your friendship is so touching there's a "washington post" article about it >> he nailed it. >> it is incredible. it will make you cry and smile it is so moving. i do want to bring you in, steve, because she wanted you here for a reason. this is a 3-d mammogram. what is this technology and how can it be more accessible to people >> yeah. the magic is we pioneered and invented the 3d mammography. it gives a complete scan one reason the breast is compressed is because they're looking at it as one page. now we can get a holistic view it's been pioneering we've gotten reimbursement for it now over the last few years again, like many technology advancements, especially for women, sometimes they were slower on the reimbursement. >> martina, with this last bout, you had the mammogram and it didn't catch the breast cancer >> it was so small it was so small.

and i have been told this, everybody, every athlete, female, oh, you have dense breasts. nowadays i oh, thanks a lot not big, but they're dense didn't catch it the first time didn't catch it the second time. but nowadays i have to get mri as well so i have the mammogram now. and six months from now mri because i have the predisposition for it. but thankfully, again, they caught it. >> the key is getting the screenings, as you well know, right? the best thing -- we could make the best machines in the world, but if women don't get screened regularly, especially for women life gets in the way in fact, you went four years one year turns into two, into three without even realizing it. as you know, hoda, getting it early makes a difference. >> it matters. it does matter >> martina, you're an awesome person, and i can attest to that from a million different ways. also, we were at the u.s. open, my mom and i, and you draped
