a 9-year-old girl has been found alive. [ applause ] charlotte sena's family celebrated the news that their little girl would be coming home nearly 48 hours after she vanished from a state park >> a ransom note led them to charlotte. it was left around 4:30 in the morning in the mailbox of the little girl's home a finger print on the note matched the fenger prints from the suspect taken from a dwi arrest in 1999 officers found that suspect inside a camper behind his mom's house. after taking him into custody, they also found charlotte. >> little girl was found in the cabinet, covered she was rescued. and she knew she was being rescued. she knew she was in safe hands. >> charlotte was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but authorities say she does appear to be in good health the suspect has been identified

>> reporter: krueger was shot seven times in his home according to police. traces of blood still visible on his front steps. there were no signs of forced entry, and the shooter fled the scene. krueger recently posted on social media about vandalism and harassment a glass egg was thrown at his window and two weeks ago he wrote and facebook that he had been threatened by a person who came to the door. those incidents are part of the investigation. he covered a variety of political and humanitarian issues he noted his own experience with homelessness, hiv formed his writing. >> he made lots of friends and probably as many enemies, but all for good reason, because he was fighting the good fight for sure >> reporter: krueger also spent five years as a city of philadelphia spokesperson. mayor jim kenney writing that his intelligence and creativity and passion shown bright

amount he made in contributions. they say he was following the advice of the company's lawyers and didn't realize what he was doing was illegal. after spending months on house arrest in his parents' california home he spent the last few weeks in a brooklyn jail a judge revoked his multi-million bail after he was accused of witness tampering for sharing the personal writings of his previous romantic partner. now she's expected to testify against him. the trial kicks off on tuesday with jury selection. then prosecutors will present their case. it's unclear if he will testify we haven't yet seen a witness list the government mentioned two other witnesses are finalizing immunity agreements. meanwhile, there's a parallel legal battle with some of the celebrities paid to promote ftx,
