and in the mission district, in san francisco, north bay highs reaching 71, in novato, one of the warmer spots, mainly upper 60s in the north bay. then tomorrow we have the veterans day parade in petaluma. we have beautiful weather for that, and all of the celebrations going on all around the bay area. we're going to see temperatures reaching once again into the upper 60s and low 70s, with sunshine. but then looking ahead there's a storm system that's been targeting the pacific northwest, we do expect that to gradually make its way closer to the bay area, an area of low pressure developing and the models are struggling with this one, having a hard time of placing exactly where that low will be. if it's farther offshore that means less rain for us. if it's right over the bay area that means more rain. it's still kind of going back and forth. meantime it does show we could see rain chances increasing anytime between tuesday and now that may extend into next weekend. there may be several days on end, with off and on rain for next week.
6:53 am
as far as rainfall totals once again it's really going to depend on exactly where we see that storm system move, but it could be a possible one to two inches of rain, especially for our coastline in the santa cruz mountains as well as the north bay. we have this weekend to prepare for all of that rain. we may want to spend a little bit of time outside. just making sure everything around the home is secure, the patio furniture is covered up. because that rain gets going early next week. and like you're seeing more delays for the south bay. >> creeping around, kari, the ripple effect. i was mistaken. north 101 has not cleared. another crash cleared from the roadway in a similar way. we're still okay connected to capital expressway, watch the traffic flow on the major south bay roadway. the rest of the south bay peninsula and east bay looking friday and holiday light for some folks, and schools, highway 4 a little slowing, highway 37 and 580 holding steady. bay bridge has the metering lights, until you get in the
