outside of our window down sixth avenue jay, what's the anticipation out there this morning >> reporter: good morning, frances. it is hustling and bustling. final preparations under way for the 97th macy's thanksgiving da parade who would you lead a parade off on the float side other than tom turkey he's set and ready to roll one of 26 floats this year, including new floats that feature the ninja turtles and willy wonka. look for those during the parade then the character balloons, the stars of the show here and just behind the macy's stars here is snoopy he had a make over this year i'm anxious to see what snoopy looks like you've got 32 novelty or heritage balloons, 12 marching bands, 700 clowns will fill manhattan and the upper west side i don't think they included me in the crew. so a lot of clowns out here.
