for oakland, it is 46, 45 in dublin, and san francisco at 55 degrees. now, after this chilly start, you're going to reach into the low 70s for the south bay. and this will be the warmest day we'll see in quite a while, so, you will want to get in and enjoy it more time outside go for a walk. mountain view will reach into the upper 60s and saratoga, also up to 68 degrees. we'll talk about those chilly weekend temperatures, coming up. we have more details about what is happening on 580 livermore, cynthia? >> and what they thanks to kevin our assignment desk at college patriots up when. he says with this crash that involve the core that went into the creek with the two children, a woman got with the children. thankfully, they are not injured. they are just shaken up, and are waiting for crews to clean that up. i want to take it to the north, faith thin or cell, this came in when you are cutting off central sand russell. a couple of lanes are blocked after a car, it seems to be just one car at the moment, crashed, i'm working to keep an eye on this in the rest of the bay area meanwhile. , back to you.

>> well, the guilt of all that turkey and stuffing, meditators, some capay, drawing thousands of people running turkey trot throughout the bay area this morning. largest will be in downtown san jose. that's where we find bob riddell. bob, i come out there, i would run, but i guess it's just too late to sign up and out, aren't the lock. i'll get you next year. >> oh. yes. unfortunately for you, scott, since the two that time on the web skills, you wouldn't be able to register anyways, right? there's the other excuse. yeah, you could actually still register for the silicon valley turkey trot starting here at 8:30 this morning, behind me, at first in santa clara in downtown san jose. actually, the registration goes on until 9:00, but the first race is actually 8:30. you do have a little leeway. right now, it is still not -- but it is apparently getting close. the silicon valley leadership group, which started this race 19 years ago, with just a couple of thousand participants, if i recall correctly, again,

back in 2002, they're expecting close to 20,000 runners this year, making this one of the largest turkey trot's in the country. over that years, that race has raced over $11 million for charity, and collected over 250,000 pounds of food. this year, the event will help help trust the help your kids foundation, and the -- food bank. the leadership group ceo points out even though silicon valley embodies success, there are a lot of people in our area who are in need, and this offense is about community and giving back. >> what i think is so special right now is as we've come through covid, the opportunity to get together, to be a community, to get out their personal folks and bring your family has taken on a new meeting in these past couple of years. and i think that community spirit that's special about the site, also, what we talk about -- our leaders [inaudible]

news. >> and that will be tomorrow! >> yes, that time of year! so >> exciting! meteorologist carrie hall, forecasting beautiful weather. it's a beautiful to get out? >> yeah, we could probably make some -- out there. it will be chilly. we are going to have, though, all clear skies in the bay area. and dropping temperatures, you're going to see a lot of sunshine today, and the winds pick up. especially for so long county, that delta, they're going under a wind advisory through tomorrow morning. and then for black friday, you are heading out shopping, will be sweater weather. but lots of sunshine, and the sunny skies continue into the weekend, but we are going to have some cold mornings near freezing. today, the or mistake will happen quite a while. i don't know if you could get any more big for thanksgiving. up to 71 in napa, and seeing upper seas in parts of the east bay, oakland, 79 degrees and 66 degrees in san francisco. but notice tomorrow, it's going

to lower, with only mid 60s san jose, and that will be the high temperature. livermore, reaching 60 degrees, we're up to 60 in the mid, and it's back them very quickly. and we will see the same on saturday, so, keep in mind as you are making those outdoor plans, but it does look all clear. we don't have any concern about any storm systems coming our way, and the one chance of rain that we will see by the end of next week looks like it's going to be falling apart before it gets here. i am concerned about the winds, and we are going to see the wind picking up for those higher elevations. we'll really have to focus on them in the north bay. we could see winds gusting late tomorrow evening and friday morning, up to about 20, 30 miles per hour. so, that's going to be a concern. and, then looking at temperatures, only reaching into the low 60s in palo alto. and we don't see any warm-ups insight. in fact, it may get even cooler by the end of next week. >> so, our 70 forecast shows lots of sunny skies and temperatures that will be cold to start, and reaching into the

until about 70 degrees for below. now, napa headed for 72, and 71 in calistoga. so, we are not seeing any chance of that rain here anytime soon. maybe not be until the end of next week, and that is system looks like it's going to be weakening. before it even gets here, so, we'll keep an eye on that. in the near term, we are those high winds pick, up with dry cold fronts coming through. and later tonight in parts of the north bay, these areas in pink and some of our higher elevations, may see gusts up to 30 to 40 miles per hour. a lot of our rallies are not going to see that high winds. into the weekend, take a look at how much cooler is going to be with our morning near freezing, and i think monday morning it's going to be the coldest. that's what people are going to work and that makes it so much harder to get out of bed. but we are going to have nice afternoons with highs in the upper 60s. and san francisco will see mid 60s into the weekend. and now, cynthia, are you tracking some troublesome --

hello, welcome back, we're moving forward with a look at the top stories of today in the bay. >> we are beginning with developing news out of the middle east. we have a live look at southern israel, where the proposed release of hostages and the cease-fire between israel and hamas has been delayed for at least another day. it is now set to start friday night, at nine pm hour time, with 13 civilian hostages to be released by hamas hours later. it is unclear what caused that delay in the cease-fire. how long that black smoke you see could be rising in gaza.
