across the bay area. taking a live look at dublin. it's in the mid 80s right now, but it was in the triple digits just a few hours ago. yeah. let's get over to cinthia pimentel for a look at the current temperatures. cynthia, i see a lot of 80s behind you. a lot of 80s. and that's the story for a big part of the bay area. if you live out towards tracy, though still in the mid 90s, i'll tell you why. some numbers are a little different. pay attention to our coastline. the presence of a very shallow marine layer dropped those temperatures and made it feel just a touch cooler. right now. some readings coming in at 58 in santa cruz, 69 half moon bay, and to some mid 50s in point reyes. so if you're along the coast, you definitely felt a little bit of relief as the day went on. we beat some records though for today. let me show you. san rafael came in at 106. the last time. it was very warm back in 2014. in the 90s, oakland museum at 97 and 99, in redwood city. and we're going to continue with this relentless heat as we plan our sunday in the bay area. some

of those plans might have to be moved to the earlier part of the morning or later on at night, as that dangerous heat continues with the heat warnings, and that will go until 11 p.m. as we go on into wrapping up the weekend. so i'll show you the map. the hottest temperatures on the board, and one will finally talk about relief. back to you guys. cynthia, thank you very much. she was just talking about moving events around to deal with the heat. how about this in the south bay, willow glen high school moved their football games to this morning to try to avoid the scorching temperatures of this afternoon. parents told us they were relieved to hear about the change. happy that the school put the students health and safety first. it's a pretty warm day today, and so if the kids can enjoy the game without, you know, being, you know, dehydrated, i think it's a good thing. okay. one game that's not going to be moved is the 49ers game. so if you're planning on going tomorrow, it's going to be a scorcher. it is likely to be the hottest 49ers game ever at levi's stadium. head coach kyle shanahan asked the nfl if the

the wrong time. a crime had just occurred. he was not involved and police pulled up to police. they questioned my husband. they. they found out, you know, he's just an innocent guy. hard working guy, doing his job. let him go. days later, she says her husband went back for gas and spoke briefly with what they believe to be an owner who explained the gas station was robbed. she said they left on a cordial note. then this morning their world changed. she believes her husband may have been followed and the guy rolled, you know, looked at him. he said the next thing he knows, he started shooting and he said, i will never forget you. he said it was the owner's face. he says, you can never forget. we asked why she thought this happened. i keep asking myself that question because the only thing i can possibly say is because he thought that my husband, he has to think that my husband had something to do with this robbery or whatever this. but my question is this whoever robbed you, you want to take

had caught the right suspect and then arrested him. santa rosa resident ryan humphries, now facing several felony charges, incapable, incompetent and not qualified. those are the accusations being levied against embattled alameda county district attorney pamela price. today, police officers unions in alameda county announced their unanimous support for price's recall. members of law enforcement gathered with families of crime victims and the leaders of the recall campaign. the unions blasted price for creating what they call a revolving door of a justice system. a sentiment that is at the heart of the recall effort. her ideology and her way to empower the criminals, especially those who are serious killers. criminals repeat offenders, and they're releasing them back to our community, our city, our county, hurting every one of us. price responded with a statement, reading in part blaming me for decades of
