election day, with only three weeks to go. vice president kamala harris has agreed to her first interview with fox news. she will sit down with bret baier tomorrow. and multiple sources tell reuters that harris campaign officials met with joe rogan's team this week. but an appearance on his popular podcast has not been confirmed. nbc's alice barr joins me now. both presidential campaigns were in pennsylvania last night trying to win over voters. >> reporter: good morning, frances. that all-important state getting a lot of attention. both candidates held events last night on opposite ends of pennsylvania. supporters of vice president harris did get to hear from donald trump at her rally in erie, however. she reacted to clips of the former president and warned that she believes another trump term would be dangerous. >> the bigger problem are the people from within. we have some very bad people. we have some sick people, radical left lunatics. and i think, and it it should be

very easily handled by, if necessary, by national guard or, if really necessary, by the military. >> he's talking about, that he considers anyone who doesn't support him or who will not bend to his will an enemy of our country. >> reporter: at his town hall, former president trump said he thinks vice president harris is more dangerous than president biden. >> i didn't think i'd ever say this about anybody. she's actually, you take a look at, she's more dangerous than him. but he's actually smarter than her. i never thought i'd say that. i never thought i'd say that. >> reporter: this town hall did not go as planned. it was warm in the room. and about 30 minutes in, two people fainted in the crowd. mr. trump had his campaign play music while first responders made sure the attendees were

okay. then, instead of taking more questions, the former president stayed on stage while more songs played. today former president trump is set for a rally in atlanta while vice president harris will do an interview on the breakfast club radio show with host charlamagne tha god. >> alice, thank i. israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu has told the biden administration that israel will retaliate against military targets in iran. rather than oil or nuclear facilities. that's according to the "washington post," citing two officials familiar with the matter. israel has been vowing to strike back against iran for a ballistic missile attack on october 1st. our matt bradley has the latest from the region. >> reporter: the u.s. set to send a powerful anti-missile defense system t to o israelisr.

lebanon is once again strongly encouraging americans to depart now. >> our thanks to matt for that report. new jersey authorities are investigating a train crash that killed one and injured another 23 people yesterday morning. the train smashed into a large tree that had fallen on the tracks just outside of trenton. the train's operator was killed. transit operators describe the other injuries as mostly minor. hip-hop mogul sean "diddy" combs has been hit with six more lawsuits. lawyers for combs deny the allegations and any misconduct. chloe melas has the details. >> reporter: sean "diddy" combs facing a new round of civil suits accusing him of rape and sexual assault. the six suits were filed in new york on behalf of four men and two women, all of whom are remaining anonymous out of fear according to the suit. the accusations date as far back as 1995 and as recently as 2021.

one of the lawsuits include an allegation of assault and rape of a woman in a manhattan hotel room when she was just 19 years old. one of the male accusers claims he was 16 years old when he was sexually assaulted by combs. one says he was assaulted in a van. another claims that at a party he was raped by three men, including combs, according to the lawsuit. >> there's an overarching theme here as you probably can see, which is basically, sean combs feels like he can do whatever he wants. >> reporter: the latest string of suits are from texas attorney tony busby who claims diddy won't be the only one named in lawsuits. >> certainly, there will be people named in these suits that will raise some eyebrows. >> reporter: last week a federal judge set combs' trial date for may to face dtrafficking and

racketeering charges. his team is currently trying to appeal his bail once again. let's turn to hurricane aftermath. over the weekend, authorities arrested an armed north carolina man for allegedly threatening to hurt fema workers. 44-year-old william jacob parsons was arrested after a soldier who allegedly witnessed the threats called police. officials say parsons was carrying a handgun and rifle at the time of his arrest. he has since been released on $10,000 bond. and the daughter of a former impact plastics employee is suing the company for wrongful death, alleging the company's negligence directly resulted in her father's death during hurricane helene. the woman claims instead of evacuation or evacuating or allowing employees to leave, the company told employees to move their cars to higher ground. six impact plastics employees are believed to have died in the flooding. and florida continues to clean up after being hit by hurricane milton last week.

the death toll now up to 24. and 200,000 residents are without power. let's get a check now on today's forecast with nbc meteorologist angie lassman. it looks like a fall cool down is settling in. >> we've got frost and freeze alerts up for a good chunk of the country. minneapolis, grand rapids seeing alerts this morning as temperatures are sitting in the 30s for a whole lot of folks and barely into the 40s for some. 40 for grand rapids. upper 30s across the interior northeast. and afternoon temperatures are only going to get a touch warmer. 50 degrees for the high in milwaukee. 59 in st. louis. much warmer out west past the rockies. that's where temperatures are more summer like. but boy, the chill sticks with us across a big chunk of the east tomorrow. finally, a bit of a gradual warmup as we round out our workweek. places like cleveland will start off into the 60s for the

looking like it could see more cuts, and another one in december, you could see positivity actually flow into the u.s. market just a little bit more, because you still have inflation managing to take a little bit lower, or at least remain stable. while, on the other side, the jobs market seems to be very buoyant as well. all of those factors, plus you now have a third quarter earning season which has just kicked off. but it seems like it's doing well. if it continues in the same vein we could see the market move continuously higher. on the other side, you spoke about starbucks doing away with two discounts. a new ceo is coming in, the former chipotle ceo saying this is not the right way for this model. taking away a few of the discounts in play. big question marks on whether consumers will be willing to be get back to starbucks. but do they actually look

complaint recently emerged in a campaign ad from owens' opponent. republican david cavender. >> i don't think you should have your own deputies running lights and sirens down the streets of cobb county because your order was wrong. as a senior law enforcement official in the county, i believe that should be something you should be able to use some social interaction, be able to navigate that incident without the assistance of deputies. >> reporter: nbc news obtained the original body camera videos from two deputies' perspectives. >> you didn't tell her who i was. >> reporter: owens now defending his actions, writing, at no point did i indicate my position, nor did i ask the responders to do anything that they would not, had not or have not done for anyone else who makes a business dispute call, which he says any citizen can make, adding that i regret that this call is being politicized in an attempt to win votes. carmen best is a former police chief in seattle. >> any person does have the
