accident, but both the faa and the ntsb will be on-site to investigate the crash. this morning, an investigation is under way in houston after a helicopter struck a radio tower sunday night. the fiery explosion caught on camera. four people on board were killed including a child. >> all units respond to the >> reporter: the noise o helicopter crash. engel street and north innes. >> reporter: the noise of the impact alerted firefighters at a station less than a mile away. they responded in minutes. >> this is a tragic event tonight. it's a tragic loss of life. >> reporter: the fireball seen from miles away, ignited a blaze on the ground that spread three blocks. >> oh. >> reporter: the crash happened in a residential area, barely missing a gas tank nearby. >> we were very fortunate that it didn't topple in one direction or another and the fireball pretty much was isolated. >> reporter: authorities say the aircraft a private tour helicopter, departing from ellington field airport 20 miles away. its final destination remains unclear. >> the preliminary information

west, and we've got tropical storm watches and warnings. as you make your way cuba into the bahamas, they may see some issues but other than that, it's a quick mover and no problem. guys. >> thank you so much. we go to the middle east now. israel launching new attacks on lebanon overnight after a weekend that saw a drone launched from lebanon toward benjamin netanyahu's own home. in the meantime, u.s. officials are investigating an apparent leak that revealed top secret intelligence on israel's plans to hit back at iran. nbc's matt bradley in beirut for us following it all. matt, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, savannah. it's been another violent and loud night here in lebanon as israel kept up its bombing campaign on targets across the country, and you know, a lot of those injuries come right here to one of beirut's main hospitals. u.s. officials are trying to figure out how a pair of top secret documents from american spy agencies were apparently leaked online. the documents described israeli plans for a retaliatory strike

against iran. for the volley of missiles fired at israel earlier this month, they appeared to be real according to two u.s. officials. mike johnson calling the leak very concerning. >> there are serious allegations been made there. >> reporter: it comes after israel released video footage of slain hamas leader yahya sinwar showing him walking through tunnels with his family. here in beirut, it was another sleepless night after israel once again bombarded southern neighborhoods. this time, targeting branches of a foundation. the israelis say iran uses to finance hezbollah after a month of these relentless attacks, the streets of beirut are teeming with people who have fled areas where israel has been targeting hezbollah. they're mostly shiite muslims. but some have found sanctuary here. this church reached across the sectarian divide, hosting about 70 people from over a dozen

here's a look at our top stories. firefighters still have work to do in the oakland hills, but things are getting mostly back to normal in the area where flames burned 15 acres last friday. crews have now restored power for all homes impacted by the kelter fire, and all evacuation orders have now been lifted. the fire started friday afternoon along interstate 580. the flames damaged two homes as of last night, containment was at 85%. i'm ginger conejero saab in san francisco, where the murder trial of nima momeni continues. he is the man accused of killing cashapp founder bob lee. critical testimony from his sister, kawsar momeni continues today. kawsar momeni began her testimony on thursday after days of anticipation because her testimony links her brother to bob lee, a man. prosecutors are also linking her to. trial continues at 930 this morning with the defense expected to take over at some point today.

posting in part, love you all, and thank you for your understanding. ♪ geoff payne, liam's father, seen in buenos aires friday, from he the third floor balcony of his room. his father there to help collect his son's belongings. while authorities are awaiting the toxicology report, an initial autopsy found that payne could have fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness. in a 911 call obtained by telemundo from local media, a hotel staff member can be heard requesting for police assistance with an intoxicated hotel guest that was breaking the whole room. local authorities confirmed the call was in reference to payne, taking place just minutes before he fell. the tragic details coming to light as more tributes pour in from those closest to payne. one direction co-creator simon cowell writing, i am truly devastated, heartbroken, and i feel empty. girlfriend kate cassidy who was

with payne in buenos aires just before his death, addressing the singer directly on instagram writing, i want you to know i loved you, unconditionally, and completely. i will continue to love you for the rest of my life. and cheryl cole, mother of payne's 7-year-old son bear, making a plea. please give liam the little dignity he has left in the wake of his death, to rest in some peace at last. >> so this investigation obviously is ongoing, but funeral arrangements have to be made. is there any decisions on that yet? >> they do, and so his family and everyone is waiting for the results of the toxicology screening. so in argentina, that can take well over a week to process, and once those results are in, his family can start making funeral arrangements back home in the uk, and the british embassy saying they are working with his family to liaison with local authorities and they're working with them. such a tough time, and the fact he leaves behind this 7-year-old son, bear, it's just so devastating. and obviously authorities, they're still doing their investigation to sort of still piece together what happened. >> thank you, chloe.

that mammogram, jenna almost didn't go to, she was diagnosed with stage 1 triple positive breast cancer, a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. >> i knew i would be having surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and then targeted therapies which i'm still doing now. i still have my port, which is where i got my chemo. it's where i get that. i'll do that until, like, february of next year. >> fischer says one of her greatest challenges was sharing the news with her children. >> they're 10 and they're 13, and the biggest thing that i wanted them to know was that any ways that i seemed sick during this process were side effects of treatments. they weren't cancer making me sick. >> that's smart. >> they were side effects, and then we just kind of did it together, and they were amazing, and my husband, lee, was

hilarious. it's supposed to affect your behavior. >> my husband said, they are not afraid of us at all. >> we used to be afraid. that was the thing. >> they know, it's a different era. we're -- they like walk around like they have diplomatic immunity. >> what about gentle parenting? how do you feel about that whole thing? >> i'm getting no results from my gentle parenting. my kids love it. they would give high marks. the other day, this is a good example, my wife said to my son, that's a strike. and he was at the breakfast stable. i came down, you got a strike? yeah, i think that's strike five. this gentle parenting is not -- >> what's the penalty if they do something wrong? >> i mean, the consequence -- there's a lot of, you know, there's a lot of soft consequences that we don't -- because again, sometimes as a parent, you are punishing yourself with the consequences. >> ten times harder to actually parent the time-out -- >> they're good kids. this makes them sound like -- i think their good kids and i'm
