philadelphia. nbc's allie raffa is following the vice president. >> reporter: vice president kamala harris making a big push in philadelphia. >> so philly, we have nine days, nine days to get this done. and for the next nine days, no one can sit on the sidelines. >> reporter: crisscrossing the city of brotherly love to generate love campaign. harris focusing on key demographics, courting a black congregation in best philly. >> when i think about the days ahead, and the god we serve, i am confident that his power will work through us, because church i know, we were born for a time such as this. >> reporter: visiting a barbershop to speak with young black men. >> god to be home. how you doing? >> reporter: and meeting with latino voters at this puerto rican restaurant. >> we're afraid of the cages.

lahia. the idf says they are targeting hamas militants. for the latest, let's turn to matt bidener. good morning. what do we know about the hospital that was raided? >> reporter: good morning. israeli forces stormed the hospital last week as part of their ongoing push into gaza. this is one of gaza's last functioning medical facilities. reports from the hospital subjected the idf troops heavily damaged the facility during their operation there. footage taken by an nbc news team from within the hospital gives us a picture of what happened. we see equipment, blanket, medical supplies and ceiling panels thrown across the facility. a fair bit of broken furniture too. the idf saying it was conducting an operation in the area against hamas militants. several buildings in the area were damaged by idf air strikes. medical personnel at the hospital say more than half of the staff was detained by the idf. this comes as efforts to revive ceasefire talks were renewed in

at&t qatar over the weekend with a new proposal put forward. this would see a temporary ceasefire of at least two days in exchange for four more israeli hostages as well as the return of several palestinian prisoners in kind. but what is still unclear is whether or not hamas is ready to engage with these ceasefire efforts. the group has yet to directly comment on the egyptian proposal. meanwhile, in israel itself, one person was killed on sunday and dozens more injured after a truck ran into a bus stop in tel aviv. local police say they believe this was a terrorist attack. the assail important was shot dead on the scene, and the perpetrator is a palestinian citizen of israel. back to you, frances. >> the latest development in these tensions. okay, matt, thank you. mcdonald's says they plan to resume distribution of their quarter pounders this week after no e. coli was detected in their beef patties. on sunday, the colorado department of agricultural said it tested dozens of samples of the beef from several colorado mcdonald's locations associated

with the outbreak. all of them tested negative for e. coli. the fda and cdc has zeroed in on slivered onions as the likely source of contamination. mcdonald's has since removed their onion supplier, taylor farms, from its supply chain. it took a little longer than usual, but fall air is back in the northeast. nbc meteorologist michelle wu is h michelle grossman is here with the latest. >> by thursday, wednesday we're going see temperatures back above normal nor time of the year. but we are making up to a fall feel for sure. 23 million americans under freeze alerts mainly in the northeast. also parts of the midatlantic. we have frost advisories, freeze warnings where you see the hot pink. and temperatures chilly, right above the freezing mark. as you walk out the door, 47 in new york city. but just above freezing in baltimore. also ocean city. temperatures in the 30s in morgan town, charleston, blacksburg. styn worried about freezing as well. you're cold too. and 36 degrees.
