is typically a stormy time of year. there is san jose again. you see, 52egrees. we'll eventually see some fog as we wake up tomorrow morning. right now, not so bad. 50 degrees currently in walnut creek. and as we continue around our bay area microclimates, let's head up to san rafael, 51 degrees. you see some low clouds to the south. they're starting to move across the bay, and there's a view of the low clouds right over the bridge deck there at the golden gate bridge at 53 degrees. so now down to one quarter mile visibility in santa rosa. we'll see more of this as we head into tomorrow morning. you can see 7 a.m. through 10 a.m. quite a bit of low clouds. it will be a kind of a cool start to the morning and eventually some high clouds at times as we head into the afternoon. so morning temperatures starting off with the fog in the 40s and low 50s mostly 50s around lunchtime and highs tomorrow should reach the low 60s south of san jose, upper 50s closer to san francisco and oakland. so as low pressure drops down to our southeast and high pressure here is to the

west, that's going to bring up the gusty, dry winds from monday night through tuesday. you see the wind speeds around the bay area actually expected to be stronger in southern california, where they got some red flag warnings up for portions of ventura county. high wind warnings around the mountains of los angeles. so look at these wind speeds. if you're traveling the grapevine into southern california. watch out for damaging wind gusts. tuesday and wednesday to the south, high pressure will hold its ground, which means incoming storms will not have really anything left to bring rain around the bay area. just some windy periods at times. you've got the first one coming up monday night into tuesday with sunshine. patchy fog at times midweek and then another chance. we'll probably see more wind picking up as we head into next weekend. so it's been a pretty good start where our rain and sierra snow has been concerned. but the next seven days certainly trending dry and windy at times, which we'll see a little bit of that come tuesday. all right rob thank you. anthony flores is here now. and man that was a weird season by the 49ers. it's

9:46 pm
injury riddled season is finally over for the 49ers, and today they dropped their season finale at arizona. josh dobbs starting in place of brock purdy, who was out with an injured throwing elbow. here's what the faithful are going to be talking about. jake moody made a 51 yarder but missed a 47 yard field goal attempt. it's been a rough season for jake jauan. jennings was ejected after being penalized for two personal fouls. he was just 25 yards short of reaching 1000 receiving yards for the season. great blocking there, maybe a little
9:47 pm
too aggressive. dobbs threw a pair of interceptions, but overall played pretty well. he threw his first touchdown pass to ricky pearsall in the second quarter, then connected with kyle juszczyk on a 36 yard score in the third. he passed for 326 yards and ran for another score, but arizona dominated the fourth quarter, outscoring the 49ers by 21 points. the cardinals beat the niners 47 to 24. the niners and their disappointing season with a six and 11 record. this hasn't been good enough. not even close. and to be a part of that, knowing that i'm out there every game and it still isn't good enough, it obviously is a gut punch to my own pride, and yeah, i mean, obviously i'm gonna do everything to make it right. we've been processing it, ready to finish this up, trying to finish it with a win. didn't get that done today, but i'm excited to get to this offseason and figure out how to not be in this situation again. all right. despite the down year, the 49ers
9:48 pm
had four players selected to the pro bowl. fullback kyle juszczyk is a pro bowler for the ninth year in a row, the last eight with the niners. linebacker fred warner earns his fourth overall selection. defensive end nick bosa is going for the fifth time in his career, and tight end george kittle earns his sixth overall selection. you know, it's always an honor to be a pro bowler, whether it's, you know, fans, players, coaches voting for you, whoever it is voting for you. just an honor to be mentioned. and being able to represent the 49ers is always an awesome thing. it's something that you know, you don't want to take for granted, even though it's been nine years in a row, to still have that recognition and that support from not only the fans, but the players and the coaches really does mean a lot to me, to basketball. and the news is not good for the warriors. they could be without jonathan kuminga for the rest of the month. today, an mri confirmed kuminga has a significant sprain in his right ankle. it happened last night in the win over memphis. he'll be reevaluated in three weeks. the dubs taking on the kings in the

second of back to back games. steph curry back in action after load managing last night. check out the handles here. looks pretty good. he had 26 but the kings outscored the warriors by 15 in the first. tempers flare in the third. draymond called for a foul. steve kerr says that was floppin didn't look like it to me. he gets teed up for arguing. the kings were in complete control of this game. check out malik monk going up and throwing it down. the kings beat the warriors 129 to 99. nobody likes to get embarrassed like that. especially the way we started the first quarter. i don't want to overreact to it, but you also have to address, you know, the execution that, you know, we didn't we didn't do. the loss is a loss. so it's not it's not any more alarming than than any other loss. i thought sacramento was brilliant tonight. they played a fantastic game. soo we just have to regrop and get a day off and come back

mcsweeney nbc. i remember that we had to end with that final shot, terry, but we of course, those were all of your former co-anchors that you've shared many, many, many memories with us about. but the floor is yours. i completely lucked out on the co-anchoring thing going back to 12 years ago when i first got here, one after the other after the other. credit the station with picking picking people who are not only talented, but they're personable. you get along with them, you love them. it's just fantastic to work with them. i also got to thank the station for hiring mr. rob mayeda. i call you the personal professor, personable professor, because you're i mean, if you if more science teachers were like rob mayeda, more people would be taking science because it would be so enjoyable. you do it with such joy and such knowledge, of course, and you do it with such. we are with our parish church. yeah, yeah, we do it with such a flair. it's fantastic. there are a whole bunch of people. you

never see them. people like, you know, sarah clovis and sam voorhees and lisa principi, raphael stroud, lauren, lauren, lauren, lauren, floyd. if i forget her, she'll. because she's producing this show. that's why i wanted to definitely mention lauren. it's fantastic work with all these people. and my gosh, it's been fun. and it's the people here. it's the people out there. you get a chance to every time, every now and then someone comes up and says, hey, i watch on tv all the time. it's just the nicest thing to me to hear from you, because obviously you can see us, but we can't see you. but when i see that face, i remember it. next time i go out at the fireworks. my last live shot that we had there, so many people came up and, you know, they're talking about, you know, seeing us on nbc bay area. and it was just absolutely delightful. truth be told, last live shot i did never made air because at midnight we were supposed to show the fireworks and everybody pulled up their their phones and the streaming

knocked us off the air and we couldn't get it on. but it was it was a great way to end it because it was having a great time. yeah. but i think that's also speaks to the joy that you brought. i mean, everyone talks about it, but you really brought joy to people who were our viewers, but also people here and behind the scenes. i can't tell you how many times we've sat together and, you know, had goodbyes and people would come up to you and tell you how much you meant to them. you were so impactful for them and their time here. so it really is such a loss for us. but we're all very excited for you. thank you very much and thank you. and i just want to say that journalism is in good hands. you meet people around here like a.j. and michelle, young people on their way up. you'll be seeing them at some point in the future. and it's really great. marianne favro you've been here on the weekends and it's just bringing the energy, bringing it live shots at 11:00. you don't care where they are. you you are a fighter and you get it done. and not only you, but you know,
